Live Jesus Ministries
Youth Evangelization
For An Apostolic Age
The training and resources you need to build a spiritual mentorship & small group discipleship ministries for young people at your location.

CATHOLIC YOUTH EVANGELIZATION IS CHANGING
Large group youth evangelization, even when executed well, is no longer fostering life long disciples of Jesus
Young people are feeling unsupported and abandoned by adults when it comes to faith
Youth & campus ministry job positions have been labeled as toxic by those in the work field

At the core of this change is a relationship & discipleship crisis. Teenagers are in desperate need of relationships that go deeper. They desire a church where they can form spiritual friendships with peers & adults, receive spiritual mentorship on how to live as a disciple of Jesus, and find reasonable explanations to their questions. Yet, in current youth evangelization, what environments have we created for teens to build these types of relationships?
Live Jesus Ministries aims to help meet this need by equipping parishes and schools in the Diocese of Toledo to build spiritual mentorship & intentional discipleship ministries for young people (adolescents) at their location via small group discipleship and one-on-one mentoring.

– Most Reverend Daniel E. Thomas | Bishop of Toledo
The goal of Live Jesus Ministries is to equip Catholic schools and parishes in the Diocese of Toledo with the training, networking, and resources they need to create a spiritual mentorship & intentional discipleship ministry for young people at their location, primarily through small group discipleship.
We pray that this effort will help young people develop authentic, meaningful, and holy relationships with God, the Church, their peers, and the adult faithful, leading them to become lifelong disciples of Jesus Christ.
