Live Jesus Ministries exists to provide the assistance, training, and resources needed to build high impact small groups for teens in Catholic Schools & Parishes throughout the Diocese of Toledo.

Feeling like you’re treading water trying to manage ministry responsibilities
Seeing young people encounter God, then slowly fall away from their faith
Trying traditional youth ministry approaches that are not producing long term disciples of Jesus
After years of youth evangelization work in the Diocese of Toledo, we believe the main reason so many teenagers are leaving Jesus and the church, even after having faith awakening encounters with God, comes down to a RELATIONSHIP ISSUE.

To address this relationship issue, we are proposing that as a church, we work to shift our PRIORITY from a large group-event based approach to youth evangelization to a relationship building approach, utilizing the model of small group discipleship.

For parishes and high schools in the Diocese of Toledo who desire to build a comprehensive, high impact, and long lasting small group discipleship ministry for teenagers.
Coordinator Coaching
New orientation coaching for Live Jesus small group coordinators working in parishes and schools in the Diocese of Toledo.
Coordinator Support Groups
Support groups and continued monthly formation for Live Jesus small group coordinators in the Diocese of Toledo.
Adult Mentor Training
Adult mentor training for new adult mentors(initial and ongoing).
Networking
Collaboration opportunities with other schools and parishes in the Diocese of Toledo utilizing Live Jesus Ministries.
Curriculums
Access to the Live Jesus small group curriculum team, available to make custom made one page curriculums for the questions teens bring up in small groups.
Quarterly Live Jesus Encounter Nights
For teens and their mentors to attend together to encounter Jesus in prayer and the sacraments. Locations TBD.
Summer Camp Opportunities
Summer camp opportunities at Camp de Sales for any active Live Jesus small group teen and their mentor.
Confirmation Prep Program
A sixteen session, small group/mentor based confirmation prep program for 8th graders in the Diocese of Toledo.
Adult Mentor Retreats
2 day/1 night retreats at Camp DeSales for Adult Mentors.
